Interestingly enough (to us anyway)that on a day that we played one of our favorite Replacements songs, we later come across a recent interview with Paul Westerberg in the Guardian. And if you haven’t read the best book yet on our favorite sloppy drunks from Lake Wobegon way, it would make a great gift for you and yours!

During tomorrow’s program as we gear up for a Capital Region visit from the Wagonmaster’s favorite pub-rockers, the Reducers. It should be a humdinger of a show, so strap in and enjoy the ride!

In anticipation of Rodney Crowell’s appearance at the Egg this coming Thursday Oct. 23rd, we will be featuring his music including cuts from his latest effort Sex & Gasoline.

One of the best print publications covering Americana music, No Depression, ceased publication earlier this year. It’s now back in an on-line only format. Here’s a link to an article from the Seattle Times about the virtual re-birth of this important resource for Americana info.

This coming Monday we will have a substitute wagonmaster guiding your weekly journey through American music! None other than my buddy Arthur G., who you can regularly hear on Saturday afternoons for his fab Soul Soiree program. He promises to bring a unique slant on things, so hold on tight and enjoy.
