I've been involved with community and college radio off and on for twenty years. I've always had an appreciation for country, bluegrass and folk music, but it's only in the last few years that I've developed what some might describe as an "unhealthy interest"! When my wife and I relocated to upstate New York from Queens I saw an opportunity to get back in the studio. I contacted the good folks at WSPN and offered my services. Apparently they liked what they heard, and I truly hope that remains the case!

The name of the program "Adirondack Hayride" is inspired by the great country & western variety show Louisiana Hayride which broadcast from 1948 to 1960 and helped launch the careers of many of the giants of country music as well as a guy that most folks simply refer to as the King. Many of those same artists are played regularly on this program and with any luck the exposure given to the new artists we feature will have a similar effect on their careers!
